Keynote Address: Be-Friending Death
Time & Location
About the Event
Lily's talk will weave readings from her books, Two Rare Birds: A Legacy of Love and Loss to Legacy: A stepping stone path to healing and transformation, with mythology and earth cycles as guiding patterns for embracing death as a natural part of living. Your stories and questions are a welcome part of the program which will culminate in a ceremony of embodied storytelling. This will be followed with a silent walk in nature and the building of a shared community altar to honor the connection between birth, life, death, and rebirth.
This keynote address is part of a weekend event, October 12-13, called Community Supported Death and Dying in the Illinois Valley. Learn more about it at: https://www.facebook.com/events/2504394426312411/
