This I Know to be True

About the Event
In this initial retreat we’ll begin exploring our most treasured life lessons to share with family, friends, and community. Examining the vital content of our ethical will in writing—amid spectacular views and gracious gardens—will connect us to what matters most, and to our deepest sense of Self.
With a variety of writing prompts on lessons learned, lineage patterns and values, and life-changing experiences, we’ll sort the threads of our lives. There will be tips for bringing vibrancy into our writing and opportunities for optional shared reading. From this material we will become more intimate with ourselves and own the wisdom we’ve achieved. This will become the foundation for a treatise that, when completed, can be shared with those we love. We will offer opportunities to continue crafting a completed Ethical Will through two follow-up retreats. They will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19 and Nov. 16, 2019.
